Our business at Brooklyn’s Best Handyman and General Construction recently had the pleasure of serving a freshly retired gentleman in Brooklyn. He had taken on a challenging solo mission – a bathroom remodel in a co-op, without a full shutdown of the building’s water. A prior contractor initiated the project, but unfortunately had to withdraw due to medical reasons, leaving our would-be client with a bathroom in disarray.
Typically, we prefer to abstain from jumping into projects that have been previously touched, striding cautiously around potential liability issues. However, in this unique predicament, the gentleman was in severe need of our assistance, seeking swift completion of bathroom tiling and toilet installation.
Stepping onto the site, we were faced with hurdles. Uneven walls and flooring awaited us, embedded in the partial work of the ex-contractor. We also had to skate around uncut pipes, all while the client eagerly awaited the restoration of his functional bathroom. Despite being presented with numerous challenges, our dedicated technician stepped up to the plate and from a Friday afternoon, worked tirelessly for three straight days to deliver on Monday.
Although the final product might not have hit the high standards we typically set, given the constraints and the situation, we are proud of what we accomplished. Our client was overjoyed with the result and expressed his wish to engage our services again in the future. Get an estimate today!
